Student Volunteers Needed to Pack Lunches for Bridges

The SVMS Community Service Commitee is looking for student volunteers (Grades 4 and up) to help pack lunches for the Bridges Organization on Thursday Nov. 21 2019 from 12:20 -2:30 PM (after the half day dismissal) in the St. Peter's Room in the Parish Ministry Building.

Founded in 1988, Bridges in Summit reaches out to the homeless in New York City, Newark, Irvington, and Summit, New Jersey every week.  Over 2,000 volunteers each year help deliver 65,000 meals (as well as seasonal clothing, and necessities) without question and with genuine respect.

SVMS will be preparing 100 sustainable brown bag lunch meals on Thursday, and a group of parents will bring them to Bridges in Summit for the Friday night run.  All of the supplies for preparing the lunches will be provided.

Please see the Sign-Up Genius Link for more information and to sign-up.
