Dear SVMS children and parents,

I just wanted to thank you all so much for your outpouring of love and well wishes as I leave my most happy place. It was very hard for me on the last day to see all of the kids running into my office and giving me tons of kisses and shedding tears as well. The gifts that the children gave me , the cards that were all written and most of all the happy smiles that I saw was something I will never forget and will cherish allways. 

Parents, I want to thank you most of all for trusting your precious ones in my care whild I was at SVMS. For those of you who had desk duty, I know you got an earful whether good or bad, but I pray that you were able to discern the love I have for every child that came to my office. It could be tummy aches, bandaids, scraped knees, or just talking to the kids to ease their minds on whatever was bothering them on any given day. It also could be that I just wanted to brush their hair so I could see their beautiful faces. Nina, Lily, Norah, and plenty more had to endure the Salon treatment. It was my pleasure getting to know the parents as well, and not just on a professional level. I will miss all of you, and I am serious when I say please visit me whenever you make it to the shore.
