Santa and the Breakfast with Santa Committee would like to extend a 'BIG' thank you to everyone who came to visit with him last Saturday! We would like to thank all the committee members, food volunteers and student volunteers for all their contributions. A big thanks to our creative team, Maria Brann and Jeanine Wiss Rae for bringing the Polar Express to life.  A special thanks to Tom Kenny and Randall Matthis for their behind the scenes efforts to make this event so successful. Thanks also to the Pre-K 3 & 4 classes and 1-5th grade classes & teachers who made the holiday festive artwork displayed on the walls of the gym. Another big thank you to the Frosty and the Snowmen band who shared their musical talents with us for the past 6 years!! 

 

We had 5 contests at the event and the winners of the contests are below: 

 

• Early Registration Raffle: Stefanelli Family - received a $25 Gift Card and basket full of goodies from Sugar Rush;
• Parish Giving Tree/Girl Scout Drive: Riccardelli Family (Mia & Emma 2B) wins a Gift Certificate to Tons of Toys, and 2nd prize goes to the Logan Family (1A ) who wins a Gift Card to Crowley’s Cupcakes;
• Marshmallow Guessing Game (Sponsored by Sugar Rush): There were 545 marshmallows in the jar and 2 children guessed a number closest without going over. The winner was: Isabella Cerciello (7B) who guessed 431 and will receive a gift from Sugar Rush, and Andrew Crooks (1B) who guessed 385 and will receive a soccer ball from Alfred's Sports. 
• The "When Christmas Comes to Town" Question when asked “If I could have one wish come true for Christmas it would be”…......  the winner with the best and most touching answer was Matty Bestys (1B) with a wish “for kindness” and receives a gift card to Short Stories and a Polar Express book and Sophia Cloud  (2A)who also wishes for “everyone in the world to be kind” and receives a $20 Gift card to McCool’s.    
• Photo booth: There were many children and families who provided very cute and funny poses at the photo booth.  The Family Picture winners goes to the Glacken Family (2A & 4B) who receive a gift certificate to Madison Mud and the Van Slyck Family (3A, KA, Pre-K 3) who will receive a gift card to the Firehouse Restaurant.  The friend picture goes to Annie Rojack and Olive Sedlak (5B) and they receive a flippy sequin pillows.       

Thanks to everyone who participated in the games. The prizes will be available at the front office for students to pick up after Monday, December 17th. A big thank you to our local Madison sponsors; please consider shopping with them during the holiday season!
