Contests do fill up and/or have cut-off dates. Please reach out as soon as you can if there is interest.

Mathematical Olympiad Contests are entirely about problem solving.  The time-frame of 30 minutes for 5 problems is one that doesn’t seem to stress or tire the children. The goal is for personal growth as there is always another problem to solve and badges, pins and trophies are awarded in May for top scorers.

Mathleague.ORG is for students that have an aptitude in number sense and core math plus are resilient problem solvers even in a challenging competitive setting.  The contest covers mental math, multiple choice, and both team and individual problem solving. This contest requires consistent practice over the year and the SVMS Math Club will provide the materials, time and opportunities to help mathletes reach States in May. Registration Fee of $15 per contest.
