SVMS To Take Part in Food Drive for Father English Food Pantry

You can make a big difference in someone’s life!

Please help us restock the Father English Food Pantry!

The Father English Food Pantry serves  4,000+  individuals each month including:                24%  Children (11 and under)

                        18%  Adolescents (12-17)

                        41%  Adults (16-64)

                        17%  Seniors (65 and older)

Catholic Family and Community Services is an Agency of Catholic Charities in the Diocese of Paterson. The food is provided thru the generosity of the Bishops Annual Appeal, parish groups, service organizations, youth groups, family and individual donations and food stores. Some is purchased at low cost thru the North Jersey Food Bank in Hillside.

On Nov. 2, 2017 a fire destroyed everything in the food pantry, thrift shop/clothing boutique and Veterans’ closet.  They are in the process of renovating the area that was damaged and have a temporary location for food distribution.

THEIR ONGOING NEED FOR OUR FAMILIES CONTINUES.  GRATEFULLY OUR CATHOLIC SCHOOLS ARE HELPING BY TAKING A MONTH EACH FOR  FOOD.

Items needed include assorted: beans, mixed vegetables, cereals, juices, soups, baby food baby formula, canned fruits, canned meats, crackers, bread, diapers, jelly, macaroni and cheese, oatmeal/grits/farina, pancake mix/syrup, pasta, pasta sauce, peanut butter, powdered or non-dairy milks, rice.

You can help by contributing to the:

Father English Food Pantry Drive in May.

All the items that you bring will help a hungry child or adult.

Monetary donations can be sent to:  Catholic Family & Community Services,  24 DeGrasse St. Paterson, NJ 07505, designating Food Pantry or given at School and will be picked up with Food Pickup.
