Catholic Schools Week 2018

St. Vincent Martyr School will join Catholic Schools across the country from January 28th through February 2nd to celebrate National Catholic Schools Week. Through these events, schools focus on the value that Catholic education provides to young people and its contribution to our church, our communities, and our nation.

The weeklong event is jam-packed with events and programs celebrating our Catholic education.  Please see the attached calendar outlining some the week’s exciting events.

The celebration begins with our Opening Liturgies at each mass the weekend of January 27-28, when SVMS students fill many of the ministry roles.  Below is the Sign-Up Genius where you can volunteer to serve.  All SVMS students will show their Catholic School pride by wearing their school uniform to mass that weekend.  Please join us for a Breakfast Reception after the 9am Mass.

On Tuesday, January 30th, we will need several volunteers for our Day of Service, both at school and off-site, so please respond to the forthcoming email requesting your help.

And last, be sure to SAVE-THE-DATE of Thursday, February 1st for our Family Night with delicious food donated by Bunny’s Restaurant, entertainment provided by return DJ Joe Cunder, and priceless family time shared with the SVMS community.  The event is limited to the first 225 people, so please return the attached registration form as soon as possible.

We are looking forward to sharing a prayerful, meaningful, and memorable Catholic Schools Week with all of our SVMS families!
