• St. Vincent Martyr School seeks students from varied economic, racial, and religious backgrounds who are intellectually curious, serious about learning, self-motivated, and disciplined. Admissions decisions are made without regard to race, religion, sex or national origin. We offer rolling admissions throughout the school year.

    Please follow the process outlined below to expedite your application process.

    STEP ONE: Request Information

    Parents must complete the online form to request information about the school. Our Admissions Director will then contact them to answer questions and schedule a visit to the school.

    STEP TWO: Initial Visit by Parents

    Parents tour the school and learn about SVMS’s philosophy & curriculum during an Open House or an individual tour on a Tuesday.

    STEP THREE: Application

    Following the initial visit to the school, parents will receive link(s) to online application form(s) via e-mail if they wish to have their child(ren) apply to St. Vincent Martyr School. The online application requires parents to upload a digital copy (.pdf, .png, .jpg, .gif) of the child(ren)'s

    • birth certificate(s)
    • baptismal certificate(s) 
    • report card(s) and/or standardized test(s) for the past school year (for students entering grades 1-8)

    Please advise the school office if you have issues uploading digital copies of the required documents and require assistance with this task.

    STEP FOUR: Assessment
    (for students entering grades 1 - 8;
    students entering PreK3 - Kindergarten will skip to step 7)

    Once the application has been processed, the Admissions Director will contact the parents to setup a date for their child(ren) to take an assessment test in reading and math, proctored by a member of our faculty. 

    STEP FIVE: Admissions Appointment 
    (for students entering grades 1 - 8)

    Based upon the results of the assessment test, the parents and their child(ren) may be invited to meet with the Principal. 

    Parents of the prospective student(s) may also elect to schedule a "Shadow Day" for their child(ren) on this or a later date, allowing the child(ren) to experience a typical day at our school. 

    STEP SIX: Application Decision 
    (for students entering grades 1 - 8)

    Members of the Admissions Committee will meet to discuss the child(ren)'s application(s), and parents will be informed of the Committee's decision.

    STEP SEVEN: Registration

    Parents of Preschool, Kindergarten and accepted students in grades 1-8 will receive an email with a link to our enrollment portal, where they can submit the following items online: 

    • a digital registration form for each of the enrolling students
    • a non-refundable registration fee of $125 per family
    • a non-refundable deposit of $300 per student for students enrolling in pre-school, kindergarten, and first grade
      (deposit is applied to the child(ren)’s tuition for the coming year)
    • transcripts from the child(ren)'s current school for students entering grades 1 - 8
      (This must include the current report card and most recent test scores and any relevant health records stored by the school.)

    POST REGISTRATION:

    Once all application & registration forms, required documents and fees have been received, our office staff will contact you to collect the following post-registration documentation, including, but not limited to:

    • Financial Contract
    • Home School Association Contract
    • Annual Physical & Immunization records
    • Emergency Contact Form
    • B6T Transportation Form
    • Textbook Loan Form
    • Internet & Computer Use Form
    • Photo Release Form
    • Family Directory Form
    • Family Handbook Acknowledgement Form
    • Dismissal Procedure Form
    • Certification of any other Sacrament the child may have received
