SVMS Introduction

  • St. Vincent Martyr School in Madison, NJ is a co-ed Catholic school offering education to students in Preschool through Grade 8. Located in scenic Madison, NJ just steps from the train station, St. Vincent Martyr School has educated generations of students since its founding in 1848. It is the oldest Catholic school in the Diocese of Paterson.

    Our goal at SVMS is to provide a Catholic education in which the student is exposed to the best learning experiences, spiritually, academically, emotionally and physically, in order that he/she may live a fruitful Christian life

    More than 440 children cross the threshold of the school each day to receive an education that is both challenging and engaging. Our students reside in more than 20 towns, such as Morristown, Harding, Florham Park, Chatham, Summit, East Hanover & Randolph. We welcome students from all faiths.

    St. Vincent Martyr School is fully accredited by the Cognia and was recognized as a Cognia School of  Distinction in 2022. Our School has been honored with the prestigious "No Child Left Behind" Blue Ribbon designation School since 2005. We are also a STREAM school integrating Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts & Math from PreK 3 - Grade 8.
