SVMS enforces a uniform code of dress. Uniforms may be purchased from Flynn & O'Hara Uniforms. Their website is listed below. Before purchasing your uniforms, parents may also utilize the Uniform Exchange sponsored by the HSA. Please visit the HSA's Uniform Exchange Commitee page for details.
SPRING/FALL UNIFORM
(start of school - October 14 and April 15 - end of school)
Kindergarten Boys and Girls -Navy blue walking shorts, white short sleeve golf shirt with the school logo.
Boys, Grade 1 -5 - Navy blue walking shorts, white short sleeve polo shirt with school logo.
Boys, Grade 6 - 8 - Khaki twill walking shorts, white short sleeve polo shirt with school logo.
Girls, Grade 1 - 5 - Navy blue walking shorts, white short sleeve polo shirt with school logo.
Girls, Grade 6 - 8 - Khaki skort, white short sleeve polo shirt with school logo.
*Note: Children can choose to wear uniform pants instead of shorts and on a cool day all grades can wear sweatshirt or sweater with school logo.
WINTER UNIFORM
(October 15 - April 14)
Kindergarten Boys and Girls - SVMS sweat suit with school logo in GOLD and can wear sneakers or sensible shoes in black, brown or navy.
Boys, Grades 1-5 - Navy blue twill pants, Shirt: choice of short or long sleeve white oxford shirt, white turtleneck shirt, short or long sleeve polo shirt. All must be worn with either navy pullover sweater vest or cardigan with school logo in gold. Belt in navy, black or brown can be worn.
Boys, Grades 6-8 - Khaki pleated or flat front twill pants. Shirt: choice of white short or long sleeve polo shirt, with either a v-neck pullover sweater or vest with white piping. Belt in black or brown can be worn.
Girls, Grades 1,2 & 3 - Plaid jumper or navy slacks* Must be worn with solid navy sweater vest, pullover, or cardigan. Blouse: choice of white peter pan collar blouse, short or long sleeve white turtleneck. * Must be worn with navy pullover sweater vest or cardigan with school logo in GOLD.
Girls, Grades 4 & 5 - Plaid skirt or navy slacks*. Blouse: choice of short or long sleeve white oxford, white turtleneck shirt or short or long sleeve polo shirt. *Must be worn with navy sweater vest, pullover or cardigan with school logo in GOLD.
Girls, Grade 6, 7, 8 - Khaki kilt or khaki pants, white short or long sleeve polo shirt with school logo. Must be worn with either a navy pullover v-neck sweater or vest with white piping and school logo in WHITE
GYM SPRING/FALL UNIFORM
Boys and Girls, Grades K-8 - Navy T-Shirt with school logo in GOLD and navy micro mesh gym shorts with school logo in GOLD. Must be purchased at Flynn and O'Hara. Sneakers are to be worn on gym days.
GYM WINTER UNIFORM
Boys and Girls, Grades K-5 - Navy sweatshirt and navy sweatpant with school logo in GOLD. Navy T-Shirt with school logo in GOLD. Please purchase at Flynn and O'Hara. Sneakers to be worn on gym days only.
Boys and Girls, Grades 6 & 7 - Navy sweat suit with school logo in WHITE. * Note: sweatpant hsd s striaight leg bottoms. Please purchase at Alfred's Sport Store in Madison. Navy T-Shirt with school logo in GOLD. The Navy T-Shirt can be purchased at Flynn and O'Hara. Sneakers are to be worn on gym days only.
Boys and Girls, Grade 8 - Navy hooded sweatshirt and navy sweatpant with school logo in WHITE. Note: sweatpant has a straight leg bottom. Please purchase at Alfred's Sport Store in Madison. Navy T-Shirt with school logo in GOLD. The Navy T-Shirt can be purchased at Flynn and O'Hara. Sneakers are to be worn on gym days only.
SOCKS
Boys and Girls Grades K-5 - SPRING/FALL/WINTER must wear white or navy crew socks. Quarter (1/4) socks may not be worn with SPRING/FALL/WINTER UNIFORM.
Girls, Grades 1 - 5 - WINTER must wear navy tights or regular colored stockings.
Girls, Grades 6 - 8 - SPRING/FALL must wear white knee hi. Winter can wear knee hi socks or white tights.
Boys, Grades 6- 8 - SPRING/FALL/WINTER must wear navy crew socks only.
SHOES
KINDERGARTEN BOYS AND GIRLS - SPRING/FALL must wear sensible shoes in black, brown or navy.
KINDERGARTEN BOYS AND GIRLS - WINTER may wear sensible shoes in black, brown, navy or sneakers
Boys and Girls, Grades 1-8 - YEAR ROUND must wear sensible shoes in black, brown or navy at all times. Sneakers can be worn on gym days only.
*Note: no sneakers except on gym days, no backless shoes and no clogs are allowed. Shoes must be tied at all times.
