Welcome to the Saint Vincent Martyr School Health Office!

My office is a busy place. I am available to meet the health care needs of each child everyday between the hours of 8:00 am until 3:15 pm.  I have had extensive experience in the Critical Care Area, and because of that training, I am able to assess and deliver the level of care that each one of your children deserve and may require.

Keeping the children and parents informed of current health related issues is also an important aspect of school nursing, and I live up to that expectation during the school year.

Children are required to have a Pre/Athletic examination performed each year by your child’s pediatrician.  This form allows your child to participate in interparochial sports activities, as well as participation in Physical Education. This form can be downloaded at the bottom of the page, and is required to be in my office at the start of the year.

Routine screenings, such as eye examinations and hearing exams are completed on children who require them.  Height, and weight are performed on students when necessary or if the Pediatricians exam does not include that information.

We here at SVMS have a comprehensive allergy policy and children with any type of allergy will have an individual action plan on record for the nurse as well as the staff, and lunch room personnel.

If your child requires any type of medication during the school day, a Pediatrician signed consent form must be given to me beforehand, to clarify the diagnosis, dosage, and potential side effects of the medication.
