The goal of the SVMS Cultural Arts program is to inspire and nurture creativity, and enrich the learning experience of SVMS students. We accomplish this through programming designed to expose the students to the arts of the world, whether it be music, dance, theatre, literary or visual arts. The objective is to provide exciting, interactive, educational and entertaining programs so that the learning lasts long after the performance.

2009/2010 Highlights:
In October, we hosted a Cultural Arts Showcase that drew 200 visitors to the school for a diverse array of performances, alongside our students.
In November, during International Drum Month, our students were treated to a Japanese drum performance by Tailoza.
In December, Prismatic dazzled our students and staff with a Holiday Spectacular laser science and light show.
Upcoming Events:
On Wed. Feb 10, 1:30 pm, Caryn Lin will perform 'From Bach to Rock' with her electric violin.
The schedule for the remainder of the year includes a poetry performance, a cartoonist and some other surprises. Please stay tuned.
