Religion
In the third grade, we learn that because of God’s love for us, He sent His own son to save us. We also discover the many ways we can pray and how we pray. The students learn that we the people are the Church. In grade four, we discuss sin in our lives, our conscience, forgiveness and making good decisions. We talk about Moses and the Ten Commandments and how we can become disciples and followers of Jesus. The seven sacraments come alive in grade five as we discuss them in detail. We talk about and learn what the Corporal and Spiritual works of mercy mean and how they relate to us and we also learn about our final judgment.
